Okay, I know everyone and their mother has eaten at YO!Sushi before and I know everyone knows how delicious it is BUT.... this is kinda a big deal for where I live.....we've only gone and had a BRAND NEW YO!Sushi open up in Worcester. I was extremely excited when I heard about my little city's new food complex and even more excited when I heard that YO! was going to be at the heart of it, obviously I was going to make a trip there at some point but I actually got invited to check out the restaurant and chow down on all the goodness so I immediately jumped at the opportunity, packed my camera (and boyfriend) and headed down.

The staff were super friendly and sat us right next to the kitchen so immediately I was in my element watching all the food being prepared and taking in all the smells which filled the room.
As normal the conveyer belt went round and in true Kate fashion I stocked up on Edamame Beans, Crispy Salmon Skin Rolls, Kaiso Seaweed and Salmon Sashimi, all of which were divine and I could quite easily rack up a hefty bill off the conveyer alone!! We ordered Beef Tataki, Hoisin Duck Bao and Furikaki Fries which if you haven't tried before you need to asap, they are coated in Sriracha mayo and sprinkled with Yuzu Furikaki, Sesame Aonori and Smokey Bonito Flakes (YUM!!)
Everything was super fresh and tasted amazing.

As for deserts, i'm not going to lie, in all the times i've been to Yo!Sushi I have NEVER tried one of their deserts, mainly because i've been a total pig with the mains and never had room but this time I made sure I tried some and Oh my god i've been missing out! Now I'm not sure if it is on the menu in every YO! restaurant but our lovely waitress recommended a few things and the one that stood out was the Doughnut, if you have a sweet tooth you will adore this, it's like one of the Bao buns but is deep fried and filled with ice cream, caramel and pistachios... I know right, it was immense, if you get the chance to try one you must(!) We also tried the Malted Chocolate Pot which, i'm going to be honest... was far too sickly for me, sorry YO! and then finished off with the Souffle Cheesecake which was beautiful but i'm afraid to doughnut took the win and I can't wait to have another!

Overall we had an awesome night, the food was delish, the service was brilliant, the restaurant was clean and fresh and we will most certainly be heading back asap, just writing this post has made me crave some more YO! and it's a good excuse for another date night (!)

Have you visited Yo! Worcester yet? What's your favourite dish?

Life has been hectic as of late, so much to do, such little time and when it gets like this my head just fails me and everything gets a bit too overwhelming, with this being said we took a week out and headed to Devon in the camper van, we ate, we drank we frolicked along the beach and even though the majority of the holiday was spent watching the rain piss down (this was our only sunny day!!) it was just what I needed.
Anyway on a more cheerful note, how amazing is this hoody? It's from Animal's 30th Anniversary collection which I want everything from and i've got to say, I bloody LOVE it! I wore it everyday while away and i'm still wearing it now i'm home, it acted as the perfect beach cover up and i'm not going to lie I kinda felt like one of those real cool surfer girls, which i'm definitely NOT! Kate + Surfboard = Disaster (!) It's also now in the sale so hurry if you want to pick it up, you can find it HERE.

Also have you noticed i've had a bit of a blog re-vamp? The gorgeous Kotryna Bass worked her magic and I now feel like a "pro blogger" with my swanky new layout, what'cha think?

I'm going to be honest...wearing pink scares me, no matter the shade, be it bright fuchsia, baby, or even dusky, each time I put it on I feel WAY too girlie, however, when pairing it with a basic tee dress and some vans last week I managed to talk myself round to actually liking the ensemble and although i'm still weary of the colour I'm slowly coming round to the idea of introducing more of it into my wardrobe, starting with this beauty of a jacket from Chi Chi Clothing.

I can totally see this jacket dressed up with black skinnies, heels and a cami for a night on the town too, the possibilities are endless (!)

How would you style this jacket? Are you a fan of Pink?

I absolutely ADORE culottes, I find them extremely easy to style wether it's for a day at work, a day out with the girls or even for a night on the town they literally go with everything in my wardrobe and I find myself reaching for them on the daily ( I also nabbed myself this black pair, you can never have too many pairs, right?) and while we are on the subject of bargains these trainers were also an absolute steal, again at £5, IKR (!) Unfortunately I have a feeling they have sold out but keep your eyes peeled as they have new stock every day, you never know what you might find and as it's so cheap, that guilty feeling of spending all of this months wages on one website isn't so bad, is it? Imagine how much you can get for your money (!)

Yep you heard right, £5 for a pair of trousers (!) Where the bloody hell from I hear you cry (?)
I will let you into a little secret and an absolute gem of a shop called Everything 5 Pounds, where yes, you guessed it, EVERYTHING is Five English Pounds (!!!!!) You may have seen them on TV recently advertising their website or you might have already heard of them and have a wardrobe full of their stuff, either way you NEED to get on the website now and pick up these awesome culottes(!)...well after you have finished reading this post (Wink, wink).
everything 5 pounds, the £5 trousers every girl needs, katelouiseblog, culottes, how to style culottes, £5 trainers, cheap clothing, where to find cheap clothing, styling culottes, how to style culottes, everything 5 pounds, the £5 trousers every girl needs, katelouiseblog, culottes, how to style culottes, £5 trainers, cheap clothing, where to find cheap clothing, styling culottes, how to style culottes,
I absolutely ADORE culottes, I find them extremely easy to style wether it's for a day at work, a day out with the girls or even for a night on the town they literally go with everything in my wardrobe and I find myself reaching for them on the daily ( I also nabbed myself this black pair, you can never have too many pairs, right?) and while we are on the subject of bargains these trainers were also an absolute steal, again at £5, IKR (!) Unfortunately I have a feeling they have sold out but keep your eyes peeled as they have new stock every day, you never know what you might find and as it's so cheap, that guilty feeling of spending all of this months wages on one website isn't so bad, is it? Imagine how much you can get for your money (!)

Looking for some of the best burgers in the Midlands? Look no further, Welcome to HANBAO.
I will be honest, I've never really rated Burgers, I've tried a lot but I never crave them, never make them at home and to be completely honest, I feel like there is a lot of fuss made about them and the majority out there are (in my eyes) pretty underwhelming AKA Shite!! However, when a new restaurant opens in our city we have to try it and let me tell you, it left us far from disappointed.

The thing that initially drew us to HANBAO (other than the HUGE burgers) was the interior, it's extremely dark inside boasting black walls, graffiti and industrial fixtures and fittings, very trendy and right up my street. Not to mention the extensive range of cocktails and I can vouch that they are bloody lovely! Onto the food...

Right, If you do decide to go I will pre-warn you...It's a messy affair! The food is absolutely delicious but just be ready to have half of it up your face and all over your hands. They do provide gloves which I think is a great idea and i'll be certainly wearing them next time we go (Lesson learned last time). That aside we went for the Hong Kong Phooey and the ODB with a side of Twerk Wings and BBC Fries, aren't the names cool? The Burgers were incredible, full of flavour and tender, the chicken wings were the best chicken wings I have ever tried, a very bold statement but the flavour ran all the way through rather than sitting on the surface like most wings and as for the fries? I just wanted to bury my face in them, JUST LOOK AT THEM! Carb heaven!
Another thing we loved is the price point, you get a hell of a lot for your money, HANBAO definitely stands apart from most burger joints and is a must visit if you are passing. Oh and don't forget the £5 Cocktails from 5pm-7pm Daily, what's not to love?

Dining in Worcester has never looked so good (!!) Have you visited HANBAO before?
