SHIRT:LUCLUC // RING:PASHA // WATCH:NIXON //
LEGGINGS:MYDRESSROOM // SHOES:CHOIES

COLOUR!! I can't remember the last time I wore something with colour in,as much as I say "I'm giving up black, white and grey" I never do, but today I thought i'd brighten myself up with this gorgeous print. It said it was a shirt dress on the website but its a tad too short to be worn without leggings nonetheless, I love it.

How would you style it?

MID WEEK MANI

DIOR POLISH // SAVEONMAKEUP

I thought i'd share what's on my nails this week,I try and switch up my polish at least once a week,1: because I get bored easily and 2:it's more than likely chipped off and looks bloody awful.

This weeks colour is 'Nuit' by Dior,Im a huge fan of dark vampy polishes,I know they are worn more in the winter but I never stick to different colours for different seasons,if I like it,I'll wear it.

This is my first experience with a Dior polish and I must say i'm very impressed.I adore the brush, its thick and tapered which makes applying so easy,my nails are quite thin so I can apply from the brush onto the nail in one swoop. The consistency is lovely and thick, you could definitely get away with one coat but I did 2 just to see how dark it went.It dries in seconds which is a god send because i'm one of those people who needs the toilet right after i've painted my nails.

Overall i'm giving it a 9/10,lets see how long it takes to chip!!

Have you tried any nice polishes recently? if so let me know in the comments

P.S I got this for a mere £7.99 from saveonmakeup,BARGAIN

WHAT A LOVELY BUNCH

DSC00863
I came home yesterday to a great big box sat on the doorstep,at first I was confused and didn't have a clue what it was but I then clocked 'Boutique flowers' in huge letters and started to get increasingly more excited.
DSC00843DSC00852
I have heard a lot about online flower shopping/apps recently and I think its such a great idea,I absolutely love having flowers in the house, they look lovely and make me so happy so i'm 100% behind the idea of ordering them online because lets face it,the supermarkets are generally full of half dead shit and not everyone has a local florist where they live.
It's also a lovely gesture to send them to your loved ones,I know for a fact my mum would be ecstatic if these landed on her doorstep.
DSC00844
I'm extremely happy with the bunch I received, they include crisp white long stemmed roses, oriental lilies, lisianthus, bouvardia flowers mixed in with lime green shamrock chrysanthemum blooms.
They came beautifully packaged in clear and grey spotted cellophane, along with a plastic water tub to keep them from drying out on their journey, the box they arrived in was super sturdy so it puts your mind at rest that the flowers won't be destroyed by those heavy handed postmen!!!
DSC00860
Mine are taking pride of place on the breakfast bar and looking beautiful (the rubber band looks hideous but i'm scared they will fall out of shape if I take it off)

If you are after flowers for a special occasion please take this company into consideration,i'm over the moon with them, you can find these flowers and many more HERE

THE SWIMSUIT

DSC00794DSC00792DSC00790DSC00798
SWIMSUIT: FOREVER UNIQUE

These photos do this swimsuit no justice at all,I would show it you on but my muffin top isn't in great shape at the moment nor are my thighs,however...my goal for the summer is to fit into this beauty.
I know that i'm not overweight neither am I fat but a bit of toning here and there wouldn't go a miss and there is no way in hell I am  donning this until I have done so.(Oh and lets not forget my pork pie skin, that needs a good couple of weeks in the sun before I even think of getting my flesh out!!!)

Body confidence aside, this little all in one is gorgeous, its so well made and the added body chain adds a touch of much needed glamour.

I'm giving myself until June to shape up...Watch this space #MYFUSTYLE

KATE COOKS: PAN FRIED SEA BREAM,BABY KALE & SAUTEED NEW POTATOES

P1100931
I haven't done a cooking post for some time but I was recently set a challenge to come up with a meal using Florette's new product...Baby Kale.I am a huuuuuuge fan of normal curly kale so I couldn't wait to give this a go,I opted to cook it instead of have it in a salad but i've tried both ways now and its also delicious as a salad base topped with cherry tomatoes, sesame seeds and a big glug of extra virgin olive oil.

My boyfriend and I cook together from scratch more or less every night and last night we came up with this tasty number.

PAN FRIED SEA BREAM,BABY KALE & SAUTEED NEW POTATOES
P1100934
:YOU WILL NEED:
.Fillets of Sea Bream
.1 Bag Of Florette Baby Kale
.New Potatoes
.Chorizo
.Dill
.Mayonnaise
.Lemon
.Olive Oil
.Asparagus(optional)

:HOW TO:
1.Part boil the new potatoes, remove from heat, peel, cut into slices then place into a hot oven for 20 mins approx.

2.Chop Chorizo into small chunks, add to another pan, cook until golden and until it has created its own oil.

3.Boil a pan of water and cook asparagus for 1-2 mins,it doesn't want to be too soft!! (Optional)

4.Heat 2TBSP Olive oil in a frying pan, place the Seam Bream skin down and press flat with a spatula(this will create a lovely crispy skin) cook for about 3-4mins or until the fish flakes away perfectly.Season generously.

5.Add the baby kale to a pan of simmering water and blanche for 20-30 seconds,no longer as it will turn to mush!! When drained add chorizo and the chorizo oil and gently stir through together.

THE DILL MAYO
Put 3TBSP of mayonnaise into a small bowl, finely chop a handful of Dill and add to the mix,add half of the lemon juice and season to taste

Serve and enjoy

DRESS & TOP : RAVI FAMOUS // WATCH: T.H.BAKER // BACKPACK : CHOIES // NEW BALANCE: ASOS

I've been wanting a pinafore dress for ages and i'm in love with this stripey number, its very girly and different for me but I like pushing myself to try new things,I toughened it up by adding my new balance,a chunky watch and a leather backpack.

DAMN MY LEGS NEED SOME SUN!!

How would you style this?
