I often wonder what happens to the swimsuit after the summer months have passed us by,I guess they get thrown in to hiding as you pile the winter pounds on and dread the sight of yourself in the mirror. I fished mine out the other day and just thought how wasted swimwear can be, an item of clothing made just for lazing by the pool (I wish) or Swimming, although lets face it I never EVER go swimming!! so mine is hardly worn at all. Technically they are the exact same piece as the very much loved “bodysuit” that everyone has been donning this season,okay there might be a tad more lycra involved but that’s a good thing right??
All of that being said,I took it upon myself to style my swimsuit for a day time look and was quite pleased with the results (minus the back fat). I know,I know,you might not wear this on your next trip to the supermarket but for a day out with the girls or even to a festival I think it could work and it gives your swimwear the revival it needs,it beats it sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe gathering dust anyway and if it’s a bit chilly just throw on a leather jacket.
Just remember…Leave the swimming cap and goggles at home!!!
