So, I might be slightly late to the party in posting about overnight oats but I’ve been having this breakfast for a couple of years now and its a game changer! If you are someone who never has time for breakfast or are a serial (cereal haha) breakfast skipper then you need look no further because you have no excuse when it comes to this little bowl of goodness! As the name would suggest, you make these the night before, pop them in the fridge then grab them in the morning before work, school, the gym etc. Here’s how….

:YOU WILL NEED:

1 Cup Jumbo Oats

1 Cup Almond Milk (or whichever milk you prefer)

1 TBSP Chia Seeds

Drizzle of Vegan Sweetener

Fruit for the top

: HOW TO:

1. In a Tupperware add the oats, the milk and the chia seeds, give it a good mix.

2. Pop in the fridge and leave over night.

3. Take out in the morning and add your desired toppings along with a drizzle of honey.

4. Tadaaa, that’s all there is to it.

Feel free to create your own toppings and have fun with adding ingredients, you can try adding yoghurt to make it thicker or mix in your protein powder. You can add sultanas, bananas, nuts, or if you aren’t keen on the healthy option you could opt for Nutella or Biscoff spread for extra filth! anything goes!

I love oats in porridge, but I can sometimes get a little bored of eating the same thing week in, week out, so I like to mix it up and I will definitely be adding this to my collection. Also, it sounds super easy and great for someone who is time-poor (or just prefers their sleep) in the morning! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I know what you mean, the same thing every morning can get super repetitive can’t it? I’m totally with you on wanting more time in bed haha, I have a smoothie instead if I’m in a rush! Glad you liked it lovely x
